Chug for

This is an ode to my ghost train day.

Minus degrees outside.
No food.
No passengers.
No lights.
The odd unidentifiable shadow running past in the corridor.
Unknown time of arrival.
Questionable whether a destination even existed.
Strategies for survival formed.
A total of 9 hours.
It was really very brilliant (no sarcasm).

And of course, I took pictures.

  9. You seem like an awesome person to travel with!
I'm lusting for a bit of train travel since I'm currently reading Paul Theroux' The Great Railway Bazaar which I highly recommend for those who love the romantic notion of moving by rail :)

Much love and have a Happy New Year.
Looking forward to more great pictures in 2012.

  22. Oh yes, the Polish trains. It takes forever to get to your destination, they're more than untidy, but despite all this there's something really interesting about them.
    Stunning photographs.
