Undone

This dressing gown (What dressing gown? Where?) aka skirt aka robe aka dress aka top is the ultimate layering tool. It feeds my laziness, meaning I can wear it everyday in a different way and know/ hope/ pray that no one will be any the wiser. More of the look here.

A big fat thanks to Frances for being my tireless outfit photographer during LFW.

Mods and Cons

In true British fashion, I thought I'd take advantage of the re-emergence of a couple of rays of sun and dress entirely weather inappropriately. Needless to say, I drowned myself in a coat soon after this.

More of the infallible, cannot-take-them-off Wren trousers and my Modcloth namesake waistcoat/ vest that I intend to wear over and under everything [enter additional prepositions as necessary]. In the same vein, prising these suede, discreetly cloggish boots off my feet is a task I secretly wish to fail everytime - an obsession to rival the Litas methinks.

Cropped shirt: ebay
Trousers: Wren
Boots: Urban Outfitters
Faux fur bobble hat: c/o Modcloth

Without wanting to sound trite, a truckload of thank yous to everyone who takes the time to visit and comment on this blog. All the adjectives I can muster seem to fall short.

L33t-a

New Yorking again. I should probably be apologising for thrusting the JCs in your face again, but I shan't because the Lita stint is FAR from over. More than a little obsessed with ankle-skimming and calf length hems, I may just be in a self-inflicted rut.

Additional shot on the Photodiarist.

Sunglasses: Topshop

Scarf: the back of my wardrobe

Those who follow me on the olde Twittermachine may already know that Modcloth have kindly made me their Blogger of the Moment. I'll be posting more about my oh-so-versatile namesake vest soon.

Interrupting the LFW stint to post these shots from The Photodiarist taken in New York at the Lincoln Centre. Her blog is a myriad of breathtaking streetstyle images, the ultimate source for a dose of dreaminess. Head on over.
