LFW: Day 1 Dehydrated

To avoid these shots going stale, I'm going to get through LFW first. Day 1 was a no sleep, no food, adrenaline induced blur. I have 1,253 images to sort through (how did this happen?!), and although my memory usually serves me well, there may be overlaps for which I hope you'll forgive me. Currently living in these Wren trousers, better shots of them coming soon.

Temptation, creation.

I have a hundred and one things to blog about from NY, Dallas, LFW - it's catchup time y'all!

Whilst in New York, I was asked to pay a visit to the Temperley boutique to play about with their Alice AW 10/11 collection and style a couple of mannequins for a contest. It's a hard life being let loose amongst beautiful garments and dreaming up ways to wear them, I tell ya. The displays will be instore and on the site from Monday, do have a gander or even pop in - the store is a bit of a marvel in itself.

Easting, not wasting

Apologies for my absence. I just got back from NY (which was wonderful and you'll no doubt be bombarded with photos from the trip in the next few weeks) and posting will now resume as normal.

These shots were taken whilst roaming through East Village just before the ModCloth party. Yes, I'm repeating the AA top and fully intend to repeat this long, slouchy nugget of goodness aka cardigan, that I also received from them before my trip. If you're on the fence about the Litas, jump on over to the good side. They are a godsend - insanely comfortable with built-in gawp factor, I find that the air up at 6ft is far sweeter. I plan on getting them in khaki, mustard and brown suede. Overkill? I think not.

Olde for the bolde

This post is an ode to the vintage malls/ stores of Dallas. Some images are from the beautifully presented Dolly Python and others from a crazy adventure of a trek to Lula B's. A mishmash of kitsch and class(?), if there's nothing to suit your tastes, the spectacle itself is worth a trip. After all, what's not to love about retro weight loss campaigns and creepy/ angry, seemingly pregnant baby dolls?
