My lace ups are all suffering the fate of contrasting laces. Deal with it, shoes.

Treading silently

Mdina, Malta at night - a magical myriad of glowing alleyways.

Dress worn as skirt: H&M
Cardigan worn backwards: H&M
Hat: Malta

This was one of the few times a hat stayed put on my trip. The wind was such in Malta that hats took aversion to my head and leapt off at the whisper of a breeze. As a result, all the clothes I took with me felt/ looked dull. I think this means I am boring without hats. Or something.

Blazing through your skies

Too many photos but I need to express my overzeal for this cape. Agreed, it comes across a bit Zara-wannabe, but hey, it was born before the Zara version. Not only is it cut beautifully AND camel, it also has the most fulfilling hood - too big and accommodating of all the angles of my large head. Never before have I been so glad for rain.

Cape: vintage
Trousers: H&M
Shoes: H&M

Away for a week, I hope to return armed with Maltese inspired looks.

Acidic hearts

[source: Danceteria's MySpace]

Being averse to all things eighties, I may not understand my love for the phenomenon that is Sally Randall, but I accept it. All fur turbans, oversized gold jewellery and lashings of eyeliner, she caters to my penchant for the luxuriant eccentric.
