Closing doors

I can't tell you how excited I was to come across these DMalikes, they were everything I wanted in a boot - the perfect balance between rugged and pretty, and oh how comfortable they looked. Having conjured up a hundred outfit possibilities in which they would star, the day they arrived was a sad one. Crestfallen doesn't begin to describe what I and the balls of my feet felt when my foot entered and experienced the searing burn of a BAD last. Only being able to tolerate them for a maximum of half an hour at a time, the one thing I can be thankful for is their sale price. The vampiric stare/ editing seemed apt.

Cardigan worn backwards: H&M
Dress: vintage
Hellish boots: Office
Fur stole: from thrifted poncho
Necklace: self-designed

  13. I was going to say....booots....love....when I read your comment about them. They look so perfect though I can't believe how they ca be so hard on the feet. Evil but pretty boots.

But I love the vampiric editing though. You do look like a mythical creature here, in a very nice, glamourous way.

  30. I know this is old news but these boots are a copy of the far superior Dr. Marten Darcie boot that are so comfortable! I wear them all day in winter and they are like walking on air!!! I think you need to investigate!
