Fire woken from ashes

Norden Park and Ride update

Hello all, apologies for what may seem to be lacklustre blog updates, exam time is looming. The temporary light at the end of the proverbial tunnel comes in the form of my birthday tomorrow (always great having a birthday DURING exams/coursework period). Presents, aka clothes, will make life good.

There is something about monochrome with a splash of one colour that pleases my heart, particularly if said colour happens to be mustard and the splash is rather oversized. The dress is from good old Primark, but a tad dull, so I added a mini bib to bring out the collar and for overall detailing fun. Hope you’re all having fun in the sun.

Dress: P-mark

Dancing with stones and eggs

RACE EQUALITY IN THE CITY OF BIRMINGHAM:

Summer is trying to tease me. It bears its rays yet it withholds its warmth.

The advantage of being a serial hoarder is that once upon a rarity, I find things bought several years ago and find new charm in them. This lacey silk camisole was bough almost 6 years ago from Mango and I find myself loving it anew.

Camisole: Mango

Cardigan: Mother’s wardrobe

Shorts: Boys school shorts, Tesco I think (ohsoproud)

Sandals: Office
